Housing Authorities Take Note of Seattle

The Seattle Housing Authority has just released a comprehensive study comparing energy usage in their High Point development to another similar development.  The High Point units, which use a Baxi Wallhung boiler solution, used 37% less than the other development which used a different solution.  In fact total utility costs at the High Point project were 56% below the Seattle average.  Tom Phillips of Seattle Housing says they will continue to measure return on their green building investments, but that the current High Point study proved that the inclusion of conservation technology, including the Baxi solution,  was a sound investment.
